The Kalida Community has a long tradition of supporting major capital improvements to make our community a better place to live. Some of these have been the development of the Kalida Medical Arts facility, St. Michael gymnasium, Country Acres Golf Course and more recently, Kalida Schools New Building project and Enhancement Fund. Recognizing a need for additional park facilities, the Kalida Athletic Boosters, Kalida Lions and the Village of Kalida have recently joined together to begin the process of developing a new community park

RECYCLE FOR THE NEW KALIDA PARK

AND HELP THE ENVIRONMENT!!

 

Where: Kalida Town Maintenance Facility-St.Rt.114 West of Kalida.

When: 24 hours a day-7 days a week-365 days a year.

Why: To benefit the New Kalida park....and help the Environment!!

What: Scrap Steel-place all items in OmniSource Roll-Off container. Steel appliances, including refrigerators are acceptable!

Aluminum Cans/Scrap Aluminum-place all items, loose, in designated trailer. NO BAGS, please!

Newspaper, Magazines, Office Paper-place all items, loose, in large containers located in des­ignated trailer. Newspapers in paper bags are acceptable, however NO PLASTIC BAGS or STRINGS, please! Shredded paper is acceptable.

Cardboard-place all cardboard, loose, in designated trailer-BREAK ALL BOXES DOWN FLAT-Card­board must be clean and dry. Remove any greasy or dirty areas of cardboard, before placing in trailer.
