Develop, Improve, Expand, Erect, Enhance, Support, Preserve, Fund, Encourage and Sustain Public Parks operated and owned by The Village of Kalida for the benefit of its users and the general public.

Four Season Park

Four Seasons Park is our flagship park and has been under development since 2009. It is located on the north side of Kalida between St.Rt.115 and St.Rt.114. It includes a beautiful two acre lake with a walking path around it. There are four shelters available for rental in this park. With over 70 acres of amenities, many of them very unique, come to Four Seasons Park to explore and enjoy!

Plum Creek Nature Area

Plum Creek Nature area is currently under construction and will be opening in late 2022. A walking path through a meadow, and then elevated through the low lying area of Plum Creek promises to be an outstanding attraction. This Plum Creek connector path will be a wonderful link between Froggy Park and Four Seasons Park.

Pioneer Park

Pioneer Park is a pocket park located on the square in downtown Kalida. It includes a Pioneer Days mural by renowned artist Oscar Velazquez. With multiple eateries located close by, you can order carry out, take a short walk to Pioneer Park, and enjoy your food while watching the bustle of downtown Kalida. The park is also a hub for many activities during the annual Pioneer Days celebration.

Froggy Park

Froggy Park is located on St.Rt.115 North, next to Kalida High School. It was originally built in 1959 and has undergone extensive renovation and revitalization in recent years. If you are looking for a place to play Pickleball, Tennis or Basketball, Froggy Park is the place. There is one shelter at this park, available on a first come-first served basis.
