About the Kalida Park Foundation
Purpose
The Kalida Park Foundation started to develop, preserve, and improve parks for the Kalida community. Beginning with the creation of Four Seasons Park in 2009, we have been working to create new spaces for our community to gather, play, and relax. Since then, we have helped form Pioneer Park in downtown Kalida, the Plum Creek Nature Area, and recently begun construction on a canoe launch along the banks of the Ottawa River.
On a day to day basis, the Kalida Park Foundation funds the continued maintenance of our parks with funds generously donated by the Kalida community. If you are interested in giving back to our parks, please visit the Donations tab.
Mission Statement:
To develop, improve, expand, erect, enhance, support, preserve, fund, encourage, and sustain public parks operated and owned by the Village of Kalida for the benefit of its users and the general public
